As Bob Mueller moved the Russia Investigation into the oval
office, Vice President Mike Pence hires Richard Cullen, who served as U.S.
attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia during the term of George H.W.
Bush and later worked on George W. Bush's legal team during the 2000 Florida
recount.
The decision was long in the making but came to fruition
this week when the vice president's communications director confirmed that the
Vice President has retained Richard Cullen of McGuire Woods to assist him in
responding to inquiries by the special counsel.
